Simulations overview
What-if scenarios that layer on top of your baseline without ever changing it.

A simulation is a safe sandbox for your money. It lets you ask "what if?" — a raise, a new car, a bigger rent, an extra €100 into savings — and see the effect on your cash flow and net worth, without touching your real plan.
Pro feature
Simulations are a Pro feature. On Free you can view your baseline projection; creating, comparing and applying scenarios is part of Pro.
Baseline vs scenario
- Your baseline is your real financial plan as it stands today — everything in your Finance area.
- A scenario is a set of changes laid on top of the baseline, just for exploring.
The crucial part: a scenario never edits your real numbers. It overrides them only while you're looking at the scenario.
Non-destructive by design
Scenarios are computed by layering your changes over the baseline on the fly. Your real data stays exactly as it was — until you explicitly choose to apply a scenario.
What you can simulate
Almost anything in your financial picture:
A raise, a new side income, losing a stream — see how your buffer changes.
A bigger rent, a new subscription, cutting back — test affordability before you commit.
A new mortgage, a car loan, or overpaying an existing one to clear it sooner.
Bigger contributions, or a more cautious return — see the long-term shape.
The flow
Create a scenario
Start from your baseline and add the changes you want to try.
Compare
View the scenario side by side with your baseline — the difference in cash flow and net worth made obvious.
Apply (or don't)
Happy with it? Apply it to make it real — with an undo option. Not convinced? Just leave it; your baseline is untouched.
Where Pro AI helps
On Pro, Steer can also explain a scenario in plain language — what changed and why it matters — and even suggest scenarios worth trying based on your finances, as one-tap cards.
