No ads, no data resale

No ads. No selling your data. Ever. Steer makes money from subscriptions, not from your information. Your data is used only to power your own brief, forecasts and projections.

Export everything
Want a copy of your data? Export it in one tap. You get everything you've put into Steer — goals, habits, finances and more — in a portable form, whenever you like.
Delete your account
You can delete your account at any time, directly from this page. To protect you from losing everything by accident, deletion happens over a 30-day grace period rather than all at once:
You request deletion
Your account is deactivated straight away and scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days later. We email you to confirm the request and the exact date.
A 30-day grace period
Nothing is erased yet. About 10 days before the date, we send a reminder so it never takes you by surprise.
Permanent deletion
On the day, your account and all of your data are permanently removed. The deletion cascades — your goals, habits, finances, connections and history all go with it — and we send a final note to confirm.
Changed your mind? Just log back in
You can stop the deletion any time during the 30 days — simply log back in to Steer and your account is restored, exactly as you left it. Nothing is lost until the grace period is up.
After 30 days, deletion is permanent
Once the grace period ends, your account is erased for good and can't be recovered. If you only want to step back from Pro, you can simply downgrade to Free instead and keep your data.
Security
- Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Sign-in is handled by a trusted identity provider, with support for passwords and passkeys.
- The access tokens for your connected apps are encrypted before they're stored.
- Steer never stores bank credentials — finance is manual-entry only.
