#Is Steer free?

Yes. There's a generous free plan you can use forever — goals, habits, your finance baseline, and two-way calendar sync. An optional Pro plan unlocks the full experience, with a 7-day trial and no card required. Compare plans →

#What happens when my trial ends?

You keep all your data and simply move to the free plan. Nothing is deleted, and there are no surprise charges. If you're over a free limit, Steer asks you to upgrade rather than removing anything.

#How is this different from a budgeting or habit app?

Most apps only record the past, one silo at a time. Steer is forward-looking and unified: it forecasts your goal pace, predicts recurring needs, projects your cash flow, and blends all three into one daily brief of what to do next. What is Steer? →

#What does the AI actually do?

#Is my information used to train AI models?

No. Your data is used only to generate your own brief and forecasts — never to train external AI models. Data & privacy →

#Does Steer connect to my bank?

No. Finance in Steer is manual-entry — you decide what's in there. Steer never logs into your bank or pulls transactions automatically, and it never stores bank credentials.

#Can I connect my calendar and fitness apps?

#How many goals can I have?

#Is my data secure?

Yes — everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, your password is stored only as a secure one-way hash (never in plain text), and the tokens for connected apps are encrypted. You stay in control of what you add and connect.

#What if I forget my password?

On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password? and enter your email. We'll send you a secure link to set a new one — it's valid for an hour and can be used once.

#Can I export or delete my data?

Anytime. Export everything in one tap, or delete your account and we permanently remove all of it. Data & privacy →

#Will my data be sold or used for ads?

Never. No ads, no data resale — it's a core product principle. Steer is funded by subscriptions, not your information.
